Our Role
Community Councils provide the most local level of democratic representation. There are currently around 1200 community councils in Scotland, all composed of elected volunteers from the community. The role of the Community Council is twofold:
- To find out the views of local people, and bring them to the attention of Perth and Kinross council and other public bodies such as the police.
- To do anything practical for the benefit of the community
